Announcement was made this morning by Mr. H.L. Blue of the purchase of the City Shoe Shop of Lexington. Mr. Blue stated that he would place a manager in charge, make several improvements in machinery and enlarge the business that he has just taken over. Mr. Blue owns a large chain of shoe shops throughout the state and is making a success out of the business. He operates one of his shops here, as well as the fountain in the theatre building.—Chairtown News
Mr. Blue formerly was connected with the defunct Bank of Fairmont at Fairmont.
