Methodist Minister's Operation Went Well, Aug. 4, 1924

Dr. R.C. Beaman Stands Serious Operation Well

Dr. R.C. Beaman, former pastor of Chestnut Street Methodist church of Lumberton, underwent Friday morning at Dr. Bullock’s hospital in Wilmington the serious operation for which he entered that institution Monday of last week. A telegram to Mr. K.M. Barnes Friday from Dr. Bullock advised that Dr. Beaman had come from under the anesthesia and was doing well. Since no reply has been received today to a request from The Robesonian for information by wire as to Dr. Beaman’s condition in case there was any change for the worst, it is understood that he is on the road to recovery.
