Asheville, July 25—Closing an anti-typhoid campaign the last week of August, Buncombe county will begin a vigorous drive against diphtheria in the county, according to an announcement by Dr. P.G. Wilson, county health officer.
Toxin anti-toxin, a new preventive, will be used in the campaign. It is regarded as a sure preventive and all parents will be urged to have it administered to their children if susceptible to the deadly disease.
