Misses Anna Lee Carter, Minta Banks and Estelle Clark of Winton, Mary Rhoades of Washington, N.C., and Messrs. Clarence Dickerson and Ernest Banks of Winton visited in the home of Mrs. Mary Brown on last Sunday afternoon.

A number of our people went to Ahoskie last Thursday to witness the game of baseball between Edenton and Ahoskie, the score being 7 to 8 in favor of Edenton.

Dr. L.A. Nowell and Mr. C.W. Beasley went to Suffolk last Thursday to take J.J. Beasley to the hospital. We hope he will soon recover.
