North Carolina is attracting almost world-wide attention for its work in preserving health and the protection of its citizens against the ravages of preventable diseases. This State is certainly a much better place to live in than it was a decade ago. Our State Board of Health deserves the highest commendation.
Mr. L.E. Robbins, State Sanitary Inspector, is in Rich Square and vicinity making his rounds, and asks the cooperation of all good citizens in enforcing the State laws as to sanitation. But few people want to be interfered with as to their modes of living and keeping their own premises clean, but the strong arm of the law steps in and says that no person shall keep a nuisance on his own premises that endangers the life and health of his neighbor, hence this inspection and the enforcement of the laws.
