The second annual Sunday school picnic planned for Philadelphia Church, in which other churches of the county are invited to participate, will be held at Philadelphia Church and Bain Academy in Clear Creek township July 29, it was announced Monday.
Not only members of Philadelphia Church and the community surrounding Mint Hill have been invited, but invitations are extended to members of other churches, including Arlington Baptist Church, Mill Grove and Hickory Grove Methodist Churches, Allen and Amity Presbyterian Churches and Sardis and Thyatira A.R.P. Churches.
Philadelphia Church is located on the same campus where Bain Academy is situated and has for years been a famous picnic ground in the county.
