John Taylor, an employe of the Gilmer-Moore Shoe Company for 15 years, is under arrest on a charge of stealing from the company. His mother, Essie Taylor, is also awaiting trial on a charge of receiving stolen goods. The cases will be heard Tuesday morning, having been continued from the Monday session of municipal court.
Police detectives found a trunk, several pairs of shoes, silk hose, silk underwear and silk laces at Taylor’s home when they made a search Sunday night.
