Robert Farabow Being Held at Secure Location, Feb. 23, 1925

Robert Farabow Is Not at State Prison Yet. . . Alleged That Negro Attempted to Attack White Woman of Hillsboro Yesterday

By the Associated Press

Raleigh, Feb. 23—State prison authorities at 10 o’clock this morning indicated that Robert Farabow, a negro alleged to have attempted an attack on a Hillsboro woman yesterday and reported en route here for safekeeping, had not yet arrived. It is thought probable he was taken to some county jail where he would be considered secure.

The negro is said to have been discovered in the Hillsboro home and later was captured by a posse and taken from Hillsboro for safe keeping.
