Cullowhee Enrolls Students for Spring Quarter, March 13, 1925

Cullowhee Enrolls ?? a Hundred Normal Students

Cullowhee, March 10—Attendance at Cullowhee Normal School for the spring quarter is exceeding all expectations. Over 50 new normal students from 15 North Carolina counties and four states were present the first day of the quarter, and others are coming. Buncombe leads all other counties, furnishing 13 of the new students. Some are being permitted by special arrangement to enter the last six weeks of the spring quarter, provided they remain for at least six weeks of the summer school. From present indications, the total number of normal students this session should exceed 170, which will be nearly 100 per cent above the total number of normal students last year. For the first time in the history of Cullowhee, the number of normal students exceeds the number of students in the high school department.
