Miss Ellen Melick is at home for the spring holidays from St. Mary’s, Raleigh, and has as her guest Miss Fenton Yellott, Bel Aire, Maryland. Miss Yellott is the daughter of Dr. John Yellott, Chautauqua superintendent here two years ago.

Miss Helen Little is at home from St. Mary’s, Raleigh, to spend the spring holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Little on West Main street.

Mr. and Mrs. G.F. Derrickson are spending some time at Washington, D.C.

Mrs. T.I. Stevenson and Mrs. J.W. Culipher and daughter, Ruby Culipher of the City, Route 2, were in the city shopping Friday.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. H.G. Bundy of Mt. Hermon Thursday, March 12, a son, Victory Heywood Bundy.

Leonedas Paulos, son of Mr. and Mrs. H.G. Paulos, is ill at his home on Cedar street.

Teddy Johnson is ill with pneumonia at his home on West Cypress street.
