The Young Women’s Bible Class of First Christian Church met at the church Thursday night at 7:30, with 57 members present. The meeting was opened with a song by the class and a prayer by J.F. Pipkin, after which Mr. Elias Pritchard read the scripture, and a play, “The Sneagor Family,” was given. Nineteen dollars and ninety-five cents has been raised as a result of the campaign to get money to the treasury. Refreshments were served by Mrs. Elias Pritchard, Mrs. Charlie Cooper and Mrs. Wilson Williams.
