Fassifern News

By Miss Evelyn Byrd Graham

The Pageant given by the Methodist girls Saturday, March 1st, under the management of Misses Maude Chambers and Lucy Bomar was a great success. The costumes were of a gorgeous color and were cleverly gotten up. A brilliant ball followed the Pageant. An ice course was served during a short intermission. The sum cleared was more than enough to support a French orphan, which the Methodists in school have undertaken for a year.

The Episcopal girls are divided into groups and are doing various things for entertainment to make their Lenten money.

Mr. Farnum held services at the school on Ash Wednesday.
