John Reece succeeded in capturing a young doe in King Creek valley a few days ago. The mother deer took fright and became separated from the fawn, which he was able to get without much trouble. The little animal is now the property of L.C. Loftis and Carl Hardin, and has already become a great pet. At present she is being raised on the bottle. Mrs. A.N. Hardin, who has had experience in raising several deer, will have charge the fawn’s bringing up.
