E.D. Hatch Now Clerk of Court in Chatham

Mr. E.D. Hatch, for many years a resident of Asheboro, prior to moving to Pittsboro a few years ago, becomes Clerk of Court for Chatham county, succeeding J.D. Dorsett, who has resigned to accept a position with the Chatham Bank at Siler City. Mr. Hatch has been connected with the Asheboro Wheelbarrow in one capacity or another since its beginning 25 years ago. For the past two years, he has been manager of the Pittsboro branch of the company. He is a native of Chatham county. Mr. Rhodes Moffitt temporarily succeeds Mr. Hatch in the management of the Pittsboro branch of the wheelbarrow company.

Mr. Hatch has many friends in Randolph county who will be glad to hear of his deserved success.
