Final services in the old Calvary Methodist church building on South Church street will be held Sunday night. The following Sunday the congregation will worship in its new edifice on South Mint street, which has just been completed at a cost of $30,000.
The congregation has occupied the building on South Church street since the church’s organization several years ago. Erection of the new edifice began about four months ago and finishing touches will be made this week. R.F. Rankin of Mt. Holly is the contractor.
A special program for next Sunday morning services likely will be arranged to celebrate the occupation of the new building, Rev. J.A. Sharp, the pastor, announced Saturday.
