Raleigh, Feb. 16—Three electrocutions are to take place this week. The first, a double one, is set for Feb. 18. The condemned men are Geo. Russell and David Jones, convicted in the murder in Chowan county. Friday, Feb. 20th, is the date set for the electrocution of Len Walton, a negro convicted of a murder in Hoke county.
Walton recently appealed for a new trial.
The fourth is set for Feb. 27 when Will Brown, a negro, will be electrocuted for an assault in Forsyth county.
