Mrs. Alice Belk Broome announces the marriage of her daughter, Georgia Darling, to Mr. Roscoe Hunter Howerton on Saturday, Dec. 13th, 1924, in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Mrs. Howerton has visited in Concord several times as the guest of her sister, Mrs. A.C. Cline, and her many friends here will be interested in the announcement of her marriage. Mrs. Howerton has been a nurse at Oteen for several months and her marriage was not announced until she had retired from work there.
