Chapel Hill, Feb. 12—Carlton McDonald of Winston-Salem and Willie Danzy of Greensboro, negroes, sustained injuries yesterday as the result of a 40-foot fall from the scaffold of the Graham Memorial Building, where they were at work.
McDonald’s right leg and elbow were broken and his shoulder was dislocated, and Danzy was severely bruised. The accident, it is believed, was due to the overbalancing of a piece of granite which the two men were moving. Both were removed to Lincoln Hospital, Durham, for treatment.
