Creditors Lose Case Against E.A. Simkins, Oct. 19, 1924

Judge Barnhill Throws Action Out of the Court

Judge M.V. Barnhill yesterday threw out of court the case of creditors of the firm of Sherman and Hobbs against E.A. Simpkins, local postmaster, in which they were asking the court to order Mr. Simpkins, who was receiver for the company, to pay them $1,000 which he had placed in the bank at La Grange which had failed and which was lost.
