Drunken Father Murders His Own Son, Oct. 13, 1924

The “finished product of the liquor business” was the remark of Judge Daniels when a Duplin county father was convicted of killing his own son. The boy made liquor and the father had imbibed freely. He did not know he had committed the deed. A once respectable family owes its fail to poverty and disgrace to the miserable liquor business. It should be a lasting lesson.
