Isaac Pearson Caldwell Dies Suddenly

Isaac Pearson Caldwell, well-known citizen of Charlotte, died suddenly yesterday morning at his home, 412 North Popular (Poplar?) street. Mr. Caldwell, who was 45 years old, was an accountant with Scott, Charnley and company. For some time he had suffered with asthma, but his death was sudden and unexpected.

Mr. Caldwell was born in 1879 at Rome, Ga., the son of Rev. Samuel Craighead Caldwell and Kate Pearson Caldwell. He was married to Miss Flax R. LeGrand in Charlotte in 1905. Mr. Caldwell was a member of the First Presbyterian church and of the Masonic order. His father was a prominent minister. Mr. Caldwell had resided in Charlotte for a number of years. He was a highly regarded employe of Scott, Charnley and company.
