School Board Buys Cobb Property to House Supt. Hamilton, Oct. 12, 1924

Cobb Property on North William Street Bought by School. . . Purchased by School Board and Dwelling Will be Occupied by Supt. O.A. Hamilton

While the deal was consummated several weeks ago, it was not made public until yesterday that the School Board had purchased the Cobb property on North William street adjoining the public school property, and that at an early date the building will be occupied by Superintendent O.A. Hamilton.

Prof. Hamilton is now residing in a dwelling located between the High School and the Grammar School. It is planned to remove this as soon as possible and that property will be utilized for other purposes.

The purchase of the Cobb property adds a valuable piece of land to that owned by the school and, it is pointed out, will prove of advantage in many ways.
