Death of George Woodward

George Woodward, for many years city clerk of Durham, died last week at Brevard at the age of 79 and was buried in Durham Sunday.

Mr. Woodward is survived by his wife, who was Miss Delia White of Chapel Hill, and by four sisters, a daughter, and three sons. His daughter and sons are Mrs. C. C. Thomas, George Woodward, John A. Woodward, and Fred Woodward.
