Jimmy, brother of “Smoky” Johnson, premier Kannapolis athlete, will give up his work here and make a journey all the way across the continent to accept a position with an aluminum plant at Monrovia, Cal.
Jimmy was there last year but due to the curtailment of his work he came here to live with his parents and begin work at the Cannon Manufacturing Company. He expects to return some time next week.
