Born to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Clayton, Sept. 12, 1926, a son.
Mr. and Mrs. Earlie Clayton are happy now, a son was born in their home a few days ago.
Mr. and Mrs. Jackie are lucky they have a new son, making the third boy in their home.
Mr. and Mrs. Burnice Thacker of Durham were guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Clayton Sunday.
Mrs. J. J. Thacker, son Hoyle and daughter Juanita visited Mrs. Thackery’s sister, Mrs. Emma Clayton Sunday afternoon.
Farmers in this section are nearly through curing tobacco and have saved most of thei fodder and tops.
