A strange tale comes from Cabarrus county. A man and a woman driving around the country, insisting that they love their baby and trying to give it away!
At Gastonia last week, a man found a baby on his doorsteps early in the morning.
Another man found an eight-weeks’-old baby in his parked automobile the mother of the infant gone to parts unknown.
In this world of sin and sorrow there are many depraved persons. But the lowest and most degraded are parents who will deliberately desert an innocent babe. Such persons would slay their infants were they not deterred by consequences.
