Material has been ordered and work is expected to begin within the next few days, on a 30 by 108 ft. addition to the shop part of the garage of H. A. Page Jr., local Ford dealers. This addition will give the garage more floor space than any other garage between Charlotte and Wilmington. The cost of the construction will be approximately $7,000.
The front entrance to the building as now occupied with be closed under the new plan of construction, and a large show room will be provided in the front of the garage. A plate glass front will be installed. Entrance will be made from the side.
A large increase in business necessitates larger quarters. As stated in an advertisement in Monday’s Robesonian, 57 Ford automobiles were sold by the garage during the first 10 days of September.
