Maxton, Sept. 27—Mrs. Mary N. McKinnon died at her home about three miles from Maxton on Friday morning, and was buried Saturday morning. Mrs. McKinnon was about 75 years old. About a week ago she suffered a stroke of paralysis. Prior to her marriage to Alexander Murphy McKinnon, she was Miss Mary McLaurin of Laurinburg.
Surviving her is one son, L. W. McKinnon, and several grandchildren. A large crowd attended the funeral services, which were conducted from the home. Mrs. McKinnon was a member of the Maxton Presbyterian Church.
