Miss Menius, Mr. Allman Wed at Lutheran Parsonage, Sept. 4, 1926

Menius-Allman

On September 7, 1926, at 6 o’clock p.m. in the Lutheran parsonage, China Grove, N.C., William Allman and Miss Cornie Menius were married in the presence of only a few friends. Rev. C. A. Brown, pastor of the bride, performed the ceremony.

Immediately after the marriage, the young couple, their attendants, the pastor and his wife, motored to the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Menius, near China Grove, where a most sumptuous supper was served.

The young couple are popular among a large circle of friends, all of whom wish for them a long and happy life.

Editor’s Note: This is page 5 of the Saturday, Sept. 4, 1926 Tribune, but the article printed on this page says the couple were married Sept. 7, 1926, so I’m not sure when they were married but certainly suspect Sept. 7 is incorrect.
