Rev. E. Lester Ballard to Give Lecture at M.P. Church

Rev. E. Lester Ballard of the West End Methodist Protestant church, Greensboro, will give an illustrated lecture on the Holy Land in the Asheboro M.P. church Friday evening at 8 o’clock. Mr. Ballard has recently returned from a trip abroad where he visited nine different countries. He made pictures in the Holy Land and will illustrate his lecture with these.

He comes to Asheboro under the auspices of the Woman’s Home Missionary Society in the interest of a scholarship loan fund which will be used in the High Point College. Tickets are: Adults, 35 cents; children 20 cents. A large crowd will most likely be present for Mr. Ballard’s lecture since he comes to Asheboro highly recommended.
