Mr. Bost Parker, 56 years of age, after a prolonged illness, died at his home in Rowan County just across the line from Stanly Sunday afternoon. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock at Piney Grove Church, where the deceased had been a member for many years. Rev. C. P. Fisher of China Grove officiated.
