Durham, Sept. 6—White children led in delinquency in Durham county during the past month, records of juvenile court for the month show. During the month 85 cases came to the attention of juvenile court, of which number 57 were white as against 28 colored. Sixty-six of the cases were settled out of court, making it unnecessary to subject the children to trial. Boys were the major offenders during the month with 64 of the total number of delinquents being boys and of that number 46 were white. Good work is being done in this county by juvenile court, the records indicate.
