Mrs. Minnie Whitley, wife of Herman Whitley of No. 2 township, died at here home here Monday afternoon after an illness of five weeks. Funeral services were held tis afternoon at 3 o’clock at Bethel Church, conducted by Rev. Mr. Ballard. Interment weas made in the Church cemetery.
Mrs. Whitley was 37 years old, having been born in Cabarrus county on June 8, 1889. She was a daughter of Mrs. Jamima Hough Bost, widow of the late W. H. Bost, and early in life joined the Methodist Church. Her membership had been on the Bethel Church roll for a number of years.
Surviving are her husband, mother, four sisters, Misses Lina and Willie Ruth Bost of Concord, Mrs. M. J. Baker and Mrs. W. L. Black of Cabarrus County, and one brother, George Bost of Cabarrus county.
