Arrangements are being made to place Raymond Hinson, 11-year-old North Charlotte youth, in the Jackson Training School near Concord, B. L. Baker, city probation officer, said Monday.
Mr. Baker said that there are two Mecklenburg boys at the institution who have completed their terms, and that efforts are being made to immediately place them in homes of relatives or others.
As soon as these boys can be properly placed, there will be room at Jackson Training School for young Hinson, said Mr. Baker.
Hinson was ordered to the school by Judge Williams of juvenile court, after he twice had been arraigned on charges of the theft of automobiles. He is now in Mecklenburg county jail.
